Dean Williard presented financial statements for review by the Authority. There is a balance in the PLIGIT account of $521.66 and the balance in the general account of $54906.44.  After the review of the bills to be paid tonight and the addition of payments to Bobb’s Plumbing and Heating for $391.25 and Dluge and Michetti for $99.00 and the loan payment to Northumberland National Bank for $8055.03 a motion was made by Dean  and 2nd by Jeff to proceed with paying the bills as listed and the add-ons.

Communications:  Ren reviewed the correspondence that he had received from Dluge and Michetti’s office.

Water System Operator:
Andy informed the Authority that the water system is working well and that the new system is working well.

Waste Water Operator:  Andy informed the Authority that he does not think that Pool World is interested in making a cover for the Authority.  Andy and Dean were working together on quotes for a new APC and they found one for $502.00 plus shipping.  A motion was made for Andy to proceed with the purchase of the APC motion made by Ren and second by Jackson.  Motion passed unanimously.  Andy also informed the Authority that there was an issue with Algae in the Post EQ tank.  Andy unclogged it on Sunday but it needs to be cleaned out.  Andy is to contact PA Environmental Solutions and schedule it.

Solicitors Report:
Tony asked for executive session.  He did not hear anything back from the bank that has the Kooken property.

Old Business:
Dean is going to handle the delinquents and shut offs with Andy. The only walk thru improvement that is still open is the pool cover and Andy is working on that.  Ren met with G&R Charles out of Port Trevorton to get a quote on the man hole covers.  A motion was made by Dean and second by Jackson for Ren to proceed with the engagement of G & R Charles to do the man hole repairs at a quoted cost of $760.00 for 4 of them.  Tony has not been able to get a good answer for the letter that was written by Curtis Wray. He suggests that the Authority hold off until next meeting to give Curtis an answer to his question.  Andy is purchase a curb box and when he gets that he is to inform Ren so they can get with him to fix the curb stop at Rick Newman property.

New Business:
The walk thru for 2013 was held last month and a list of improvements was created:
A.) Propane at well site is at 20% it needs to be filled.
B.) Put grates on head wall of 18” pipe at well site
C.) Brush back road at sides of the road to well #2
D.) Clear brush on the inside of the fence
E.) Replace ladder and fix vents at well #3
F.) Control the moisture in 4 log building
G.) Clean the “rags” out of the basin at 1 and 2
Jill Herbs concern was addressed with the Authority and they advised her that the Authority would not have approved the paving of her street since it is a state road.  She can file a “right to know” form and the Authority could get her information that they had.  Solicitor Michetti advised her that she needs to look into a lawyer since there are statues on what she is looking to do and it has been some time since the street was repaved.

Adjournment:  There being no further business, the public meeting adjourned at 8:21pm
