Call to Order: 

President Reynold Wolfe called the meeting to order at 7:17 pm

Present:

Solicitor:  None

Citizens:  None

Review of Previous Meeting Minutes:

After a review of the previous month’s meeting minutes a motion was made by Ren and second by Dean to approve the minutes as presented.  

Financial Report and Payment of Listed Bills:

Dean Williard presented financial statements for review by the Authority. There is a balance in the PLIGIT account of $521.68 and the balance in the general account of $46098.01.  After the review of the bills to be paid tonight and the addition of payments to TDS for $118.22; a motion was made that if a statement comes in from PESI before the next meeting for the cleaning of the Post EQ tanks a motion was made that the bill could be paid.  Motion to pay the bills as presented and to also pay PESI was made by Dean and 2nd by Joel. 

Communications:  None

Water System Operator:

Andy informed the Authority that he spoke with Rick Spotts of Lower Mahanoy Twp and Rick informed him that LMT was changing to a different testing Laboratory for 2014.  This change is expected to save LMT approximately $1000.00 per year.  Andy will check into this as to whether a similar change would save expense for HBJTJMA. 

Waste Water Operator:  Andy told the Authority that the Post EQ tanks have been cleaned and that PESI is putting the cleaning of the SBR tanks on the future schedule.  Ren is going to check with PESI to make sure that the dumpster is included with the cost of cleaning the tanks. 

Solicitors Report: 

Tony was not present for the meeting; however he did go over a few things with Ren.  The Authority entered into executive session to discuss these items. 

Old Business:

Dean is going to handle the delinquents and shut offs with Andy. The only walk thru improvement for 2012 that is still open is the pool cover and Andy is working on that. 

The walk thru for 2013 list of improvements:

A.) Put grates on head wall of 18” pipe at well site

B.) Brush back road at sides of the road to well #2

C.) Clear brush on the inside of the fence

D.) Clean the “rags” out of the basin at 1 and 2

Andy and Ren are going to fix the curb stop at the Newman Property this month.  All information in regards to the Curtis Wray property will come from the Solicitor. 

New Business:

Dean presented the preliminary budget for review by the Authority.
