Financial Report and Payment of Listed Bills:
Dean Williard presented financial statements for review by the Authority. There is a balance in the PLIGIT account of $529.09 the balance in the general account of $33114.82 and a balance in the Northumberland National Bank Savings account of $1,009.60. A motion was made by Dean and 2nd by Jeff to pay the bills as presented along with the addition of payments to Bobb’s Plumbing and Heating for $847.12, PA Rural Water Association for $423.00 and Andy Bobb for $1560.00.

Water/Wastewater System Operator:  Andy informed the Authority that Well Pump number 4 quit working, he replaced the motor control box and it is now back on line.  The Authority received the yearly Aqua Aerobics plaque.  The hydrants have been flushed and Andy reminded the Authority that the 3 hydrants on Rivershore are unusable.  However, the Fire Company would not use them as the river is right there for them to pump water from.  Andy also informed the Authority that the Larry Troutman property had raw sewage that went onto the Kerchoff property line. Dean had sent a letter to the customer informing him of the problem stating in the letter that it was the property owner’s responsibility to repair.   Andy is going to follow up and be sure that the sewage was cleaned up.

Solicitors Report:  None present

Old Business:
Dean is going to handle the delinquents and shut offs with Andy. The Feese property is scheduled for sale on June 21 or 22nd.  Mulbergers and Frank and Lisa Bartley are pending shut off for non payment.   The list of improvements still pending is canopy modifications.  Andy is to work on the canopy modifications when he has time to do it and Paul is able to help. Paul got the times that Andy is typically at the plant so that they can work on the modifications.   Andy is going to call Green Acres fencing to get an estimate for a fence at the WWTP.  There is also a fencing place in the Berrysburg area that Andy is going to check into to see if they can get an estimate for the fence at the WWTP.  Valley Fencing is to look at the Fence this week and give an estimate of what it would cost to make the modification.  Paul measured for the paving project and it is roughly 2ft wide and 120 ft long, which Paul estimates about 6.5 tons of amesite needed and a cost of roughly $4000.00.  Paul is going to follow up on the paving and is to get two quotes.  Paul talked to SS Witmer and gave a verbal quote of $2800.00 for the paving project; however, the quote needs to be on paper.  Paul is going to follow up on this.  The yearly walk through took place and a list of the items that need to be addressed are as follows:
1) Widen the road up to Well 2- Paul is going to see of Beilhartz will cut the branches.
2)  Clear up the water jam at the fence close to Well 2- Paul will check if Beilhartz is capable of cleaning this up
3) Trim the trees at Pump 3 at Zeiglers-  Paul is going to see if Jackson Township has a pole saw that can be borrowed for this project.
4) Spray at the well-site- Dean and Jeff are going to take a look at this the beginning of June.

New Business:
Dean requested that Andy have the water quality reports emailed to him by June 15th so they are ready for quarterly billing.  Dean suggested that since the new SBR panel would cost around $40,000.00 that the Authority consider putting money into the savings account if it is able to.  Dean had advised that he was not able to find any suppliers for the chemicals previously purchased from Aqua Chemicals and suggested that Andy get with Todd Mace of PA Environmental Solutions since they do run some other sewer plants that may be using the same supplies.

Adjournment:  There being no further business, the public meeting adjourned at 7:41pm.  Motion made by Paul and 2nd from Jeff
