Water System Operator:
Andy informed the Authority that he got a quote together for a new hydrant.  The materials will cost $3665.00. Andy is to get a quote of what it would cost to have him replace the hydrant and what his labor cost would be and Ren is going to send a letter to the Borough and inform them of the costs.  Andy requested authorization to purchase a lift hook and an impact wrench.  Dean made the motion that the Authority gives Andy Bobb the permission to proceed with the purchase of an impact wrench and lift hook.  Jackson seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.

Andy informed the Authority that the hydrants need to be flushed again.  They are scheduled to be done on Tuesday June 7th and a flyer will be put up at the post office and also on the website.

Solicitors Report:
Tony informed the Authority that a letter has gone out to Myers pump in regards to the issues that the Authority has had at pump station 2. The only response that was received back was from Myers he did not receive anything back from Mid Atlantic.

Old Business:
Ren and Dean are going to be meeting on June 1, 2011 to go over delinquents.  The curb stop at June Deppens is still pending.  The fence is completed with the exception of change order number 2 which involves furnishing and installing a bar system at 2 water courses a swing gate to close stone trench at catch basin and install a cane bolt receiver for stationary leaf at 10’ gate .  Ren was in discussion with Paul Krizan about the 4 log analyzer and about using the extra funds from the fence project to purchase it.  However Ren did receive a letter from Bill Seigel from CDBG which states that the Authority is not permitted to use the extra funds from the fence project on the 4 log analyzer.  Paul Krizan is estimating the cost for the 4 log analyzer is going to be around $51,000.00 which would include a 10kw permanent mounted generator.  Tony is going to send a letter to Shirley Klinger in regards to her issue not being fixed and her thirty (30) days have been up.  Andy fixed the issue at the Reload and Brewsters fixed their issue with the observation port.  Cliff Sprenkle has not fixed his observation port yet.

New Business:
Ren is requesting a motion be made that he can purchase 4 signs 2 for the reservoir and 2 for the well site costing about $160.00.  Dean made the motion to proceed with this and Ren second it.  Patriot Energy will start the meter readings in June and replace Glacial Energy.  A total of 175 seedlings have been planted at the Reservoir and Well Site.  Ren had Paul Krizan look at the storm water infiltration on River Shore, his suggestion is to have the fire company flood a specific manhole cover and open a manhole down flow and check on an increase flow of water through the gravity main to PS 3.  Also flood around PS 3 as well.  2 trees fell on the new fence, however on May 23rd they were removed and the fence went back to near correct position.
