Call to Order: 
President Reynold Wolfe called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm

Review of Previous Meeting Minutes:
After a review of the previous months meeting minutes a motion was made to approve the minutes as presented motion made by Dean and second by Kurvin.  Ren then declared the minutes approved as presented. 

Financial Report and Payment of Listed Bills:
Dean Williard presented financial statements for review by the Authority. There is a balance in the PLIGIT account of $61759.16.  After the review of the bills to be paid tonight and an addition of payments to Pathhart Nursery for $90.00, Luke Troutman $120.00 and Dean Williard $27.00 motion was made by Dean to proceed with the paying of the bills.  Second by Jackson. 

Communication and Notices:
A bankruptcy notice was received and given to Tony Michetti for Felicia Kooken (LDG 178).  There was a written complaint in with payments from Rosencrans (LDG 31) regarding dirty water and the late fee of $10.00.  If a payment is not paid by the 15th of the month then a $10.00 late fee will be applied it applies to everyone. 

Water System Operator: 
Andy informed the Authority that there was a water main break at Jeff Wetzel’s property.   He stated that they were able to maintain pressure and was able to get it repaired.  He stated that the annual water inspection with Ms.  Stover is coming up. 

Waste Water Report: 
Andy informed the Authority that Rick thinks there is something wrong with the Post DQ tank and that it needs to be pressured wash.  Ren suggested that the Authority purchase a pressure washer.  A motion was made for Ren to purchase a pressure washer from Lowes which would cost about $344.50; motion was made by Dean and second by Jackson. 




Solicitors Report: 
Tony informed the Authority that the lien against the Hoffman’s has been filed and that the Authority can not include the Attorney fees associated with filing the lien.  Tony also informed the Authority that the Reigel property is back with Wells Fargo. 

Old Business:
Ren informed the members that the Well Site project is still on hold.  Andy gave an update on the call out alarms at pump 3 & 4, he stated that he talked directly to the person who installed the alarms and he was told that the light bulbs need to be 120 watts.  Andy is going to be keeping in contact with Steve Kreider. Ren suggested that the old generator be sold, Ren is going to be running ads in the Daily Item, The Pottsville Republican and the Shamokin News Item to advertise for bids on the generator.  Ren also informed the Authority that he sent a letter to Charles Denkovich regarding the manhole repair at LDG 147.  Dean discussed the Feese issue in regards to not paying the bill, and singling her out.  Dean informed the Authority that he received a return phone call from Debbie Brady who is a daughter to Mrs.  Feese when Dean offered to make sure she would get a copy of future billing for her mother she would not give an address for herself.  It was decided that there is no forgiveness; Dean would write a letter to Pauline stating such at the close of the meeting. 

New Business: 
Kurvin told the Authority that there was a dirty water problem on Pottsville St. after 8” water main repair.  Kurvin suggested that the hydrants be flushed.  Andy suggested that it be done on Tuesday May 12th, 2009.  Jack expressed a concern about raising the Rivershore resident’s sewage lateral vent to above flood level or first floor toilet level.  Andy is going to follow up and get an estimate of what this project would cost.
