Call to Order: 
President Reynold Wolfe called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm

Present:

Review of Previous Meeting Minutes:
After a review of the previous months meeting minutes, and the corrections made, Ren declared the minute’s approved as presented motion made by Kurvin and second by Jackson.

Financial Report and Payment of Listed Bills:
Dean Williard presented financial statements for review by the Authority. There is a balance in the PLIGIT account of $50597.59.   After the review of the bills to be paid tonight and the addition of check 228 payable to Roy Adams in the amount of $2325.08, there was a motion made by Dean and 2nd by Jackson to proceed with paying the bills that are listed and then also to proceed and pay the bill that were submitted at tonight’s meeting. Dean then presented an overview of each of the checking accounts that the Authority has and what funds are available in each. 
Water System Operator:
Andy informed the Authority that there is a problem with the chlorine pump.  The existing pump is 10-12 years old. Andy quoted a replacement pump would cost $700.00.  The Authority made a motion to authorize Andy to purchase a chlorine pump motion was made by Jackson and 2nd by Ed. Andy also informed the Authority that it was time to flush the hydrants.  The hydrants are scheduled to be flushed April 8, 2008.  Dean is going to put a notice on the Pikes Peak Television Community Board Channel.  Ren is going to post a notice on the bulletin board. 

Waste Water Report: 
Rick told the Authority that the Chapter 94 report was completed and sent to DEP.  Ren is going to make a copy to give to Herndon Borough and also to Jackson Township Supervisors. 

Solicitors Report: 
Joe informed the Authority that payment can be expected from the Sheriff Sale on LDG 005.  Joe also informed the Authority that neither HRI nor Larson is paying any part of the Fire House project.  Joe also informed the Authority that as of yet he had not forwarded the check along with the cover letter to HRI relative to the disagreement with the Norfolk Southern Railroad over the time that the railroad inspectors were involved during the sewer line construction on Railroad Avenue.

New Business: 
The April meeting date was changed to April 23, 2008 because of the elections on Tuesday the 22nd.  April 7, 2008 the water is scheduled to be turned off to the non-paying customers.  A notice will be sent one week prior to cutoff and a notice will also be tacked on the door of the properties.  Ren is going to be typing the letters. 

There was a grease and oil contamination at pump 2 which appeared to be cooking oil.  Ren is going to write a letter to inform that a grease trap will be required to be put into the establishment.  Jackson is going to speak to him and inform him of the situation.  

The Authority has also received complaints about dirty water on the weekend that there was fire training.  Jackson is going to talk to the fire chiefs and make it known that there needs to be permission granted in order to get water out of the hydrants unless it is for an emergency. 

Ren inquired about the Audit for the fiscal year.  An update will be provided at the next meeting.
