Call to Order: 
President Reynold Wolfe called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm

Review of Previous Meeting Minutes:
After a review of the previous months meeting minutes, Ren declared the minute’s approved as presented motion made by Dean and second by Jackson.

Financial Report and Payment of Listed Bills:
Dean Williard presented financial statements for review by the Authority. There is a balance in the PLIGIT account of $61811.48.   After the review of the bills to be paid tonight motion was made by Dean and 2nd by Kurvin to proceed with the paying of the bills as presented. 

Water System Operator:
Andy informed the Authority that the “pulsing chemical pumps” are in, however two hand valves broke.  Andy also informed the Authority that there was 10,000 gallons of flow from the reservoir into the treatment plant.  He stated that the Authority needs to be on the lookout for unusual activity.  Andy is going to check with Herndon Reload to see if anything has changed there.  Andy informed the Authority that the next time that Stahlneckers haul sludge he is going to have them pump out the grease at pump 2.  The blocks did not help.  Andy also informed the Authority that there is no communication with pump 2, Paul Krizan is to be getting HRI State College involved.  Andy also informed the Authority that the call out alarms at pumps 3 and 4 are disarmed.  Ren is to contact Paul.  Andy also advised that the chlorinator may not need to be rebuilt.

Solicitors Report: 
Tony informed the Authority that he was in contact via letter to Cindy Inkrote.  Tony also informed the Authority that the Criley’s have not been served, however the Hoffman’s have been.  The Hoffmans had called in and left a message on the answering machine and the message was played for the members.  Mr. Hoffman stated that he can not afford anymore fines The Authority decided to send another letter to The Hoffman’s from Dluge and Michetti office stating that until they are connected they will be fined.  Tony informed the Authority and also had paper work stating that the Authority is tax exempt from property. 
Old Business:
Ren contacted Jake Klinger on June 27, 2008 and Jake informed Ren that he just had bypass surgery and Ren requested that he contact him and Andy when he is feeling up to it to discuss his final lateral connection.  As of meeting there were no phone calls to Ren.  Ren will follow up with him.  Ren discussed the Generator project.  He stated that he spoke with Jim Kelly from Hunter Lomison Inc.  Pump Station 2 has sized a 25kw generator and 2 100 gallon propane tanks.  Well site has sized a 14kw generator and one 100 gallon propane tank.  The budget estimate for both projects is $30,000.00 instead of the $35,000.00 that was stated at the previous meeting.  Plans specs, and advertising for bids need to be finalized with NCPC approval prior to bidding the project.  The same is true for the Dissolved Oxygen Project for the WWTP.  The secretary was requested advice of any receipt of payment for the Tap In Fee & Inspection Fee from Ryan Schaffner.  This was to be paid with 30days of the signing of the agreement wherein LDG# 229 (the Laundromat) would be billed 2 waters & 1 sewer after connection to the
sewer.


New Business: 
Ed gave an update on his research to locate better software for the billing process.  He stated that it is very difficult because a lot of the Municipalities that he has contacted are not happy with the software that they are using either.  Ed is going to continue to research and see if he can come up with more information. 
Adjournment:  There being no further business, the public meeting held at the Herndon Borough Municipal Building adjourned at 7:50pm
