Call to Order: 

President Reynold Wolfe called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m.

Present:

Authority Members:  Reynold Wolfe, Dean Williard, Jackson Wetzel, Kurvin Batdorf, Ivan Newman

Solicitor: Joseph Michetti Jr.

Discussion regarding the Special Purpose of this meeting:

1. Discuss a change to Article II- User Charge-Section 2.02

The dates for lateral connections have been established as follows:  April 2, 2007 through June 30, 2007.  Those laterals not connected within this designated time frame shall pay the established Sewage Usage Charge of 61.50/ month even though not connected by June 30, 2007.

2. The purpose for consideration of a change to the adopted Resolution was twofold;

A. LMI qualifying residence were not provided enough time to make proper contractor installation agreements due to the late approval by NCPC. 

B. If action is taken to forgive LMI qualified then one group is forgiven, out of fairness to all, all need to be forgiven of the Sewage User Charge.

Action taken:

1. Adopt a Resolution to amend the User Charge as follows;

Waive the user charge for the month of July (31) days to those “Improved Properties” not connected to the sewerage system.  When connected during the month of July, $2.00/day User Charge will be invoiced with the same procedure as was previously established.

A motion to adopt the Amended Resolution as Stated was made by Jackson nd seconded b Ivan.  “Passed by Unanimous vote”
